More About General Health Check

Liver Function Tests
We offer the ‘normal’ liver function test is a blood test which profiles for liver damage, as well as functional liver detoxification testing; an extensive profile of multiple liver pathways detailing liver detoxification phases 1 and 2. Due to our modern environment, it is common to find an increased phase 1 and decreased phase 2 liver detoxification, allowing toxic metabolites to increase rather than being safely eliminated.

Stress Profile
Salivary hormone testing commonly utilised for symptoms such as stress, anxiety, low mood or lack of energy.

Vitamin D Testing
Vitamin D is important for many health benefits, including immune health, hormonal health, inflammation and much more. Current studies have rated up to 40% of Australians may be vitamin D deficient.

Iron Levels
The ‘normal’ test for iron levels, important for energy levels and to check for Haemochromatosis.

Sleep Profile
A salivary hormone test for sleep cycle issues such as insomnia, difficulty falling asleep or difficulty staying asleep, or waking up too early.

Gene/Genetic Health Testing
Extensive genetic profiling options of many genes.

Vitamin B12 Testing
A blood test of vitamin B12 levels, which is required for healthy red blood cells as well as methylation.

Inflammation Testing
A highly accurate measurement of systemic or chronic inflammation. Systemic or low-grade, chronic inflammation is implicated in all chronic and autoimmune disease, cancer and obesity or difficulty losing weight.

Female and Male Hormone Profile
A salivary hormone test including such hormones as testosterone, progesterone and oestrogens.

PSA Testing
A blood test utilised to screen for prostate enlargement or benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Osteoporosis Markers
A urinary test profiling the rate of bone reabsorption.

Cytokine Testing
Specialised testing of the immune system for Th1 or Th2 dominance in autoimmune conditions and pro-inflammatory cytokines in serious or chronic illness.

Oxidative Damage Markers
An extensive profile of oxidative damage and antioxidant requirements. Oxidative damage causes degenerative disease and accelerates ageing, and high levels are implicated in most chronic and serious illness.
