Adrenal Fatigue

What is Adrenal Fatigue?

Adrenal fatigue is fast becoming the health issue of the 21st century, and it’s no surprise since our modern day lives include increasingly high levels of stress, pressure, and demands.

In medical terms, adrenal fatigue describes when the adrenal glands, our energy and stress-coping centers, have been working on overtime for too long, and can no longer keep up with the increased demand asking them to work harder and harder. When this happens, the adrenal glands can’t produce enough of the hormones which naturally make us feel well, energetic and able to cope with stress. What this means for us is less energy and less stress-coping abilities, just when we need them the most!

More About Adrenal Fatigue

Is this a normal part of ageing?

Many people assume feeling tired and a bit stressed is a natural part of growing older, especially after kids come along and we have less time to look after ourselves. This is definitely not the case. If your adrenal glands are functioning correctly, you can feel energized and healthy well into your nineties and beyond.

What can I do about adrenal fatigue?

The good news is that Adrenal Fatigue can be quite simple to resolve using natural medicines. Most people feel a significant improvement from the very first week, and are usually completely back to their old selves with plenty of energy to enjoy their lives within 2-3 months.
