Feeling drained?

Many of us feel tired, worn out, or a bit run down with our busy lives.

Is this just how it is as we get older, and things get busier?

Most people assume that feeling tired is a natural part of growing older, and that there’s not much that can be done about it. Thankfully this is not the case!

If things are working correctly in our body, we should have plenty of steam from sun up to sun down. If you’re feeling fatigued on a daily basis, there’s sure to be an underlying biochemical cause of your symptoms.

Energy brings quality of life!

Energy is controlled by different centres within the body.

These include:

  • Adrenal hormones such as Cortisol and DHEAs.
  • Thyroid function and thyroid hormones.
  • Low Iron or Ferritin levels.
  • Insomnia or lack of sleep.
  • Diet and the foods we eat.
  • Nutritional status, such as B vitamins.
  • Infections such as viruses, Candida and other illnesses.
  • Plus a few more.

The most common causes of tiredness and fatigue that we currently see are the top two hormone-related causes, such as Adrenal Fatigue or Thyroid Disorders. Both of these are easily tested for, and able to be treated.
